Most often it's money that brings about the change of plans. But money should never be a deterrent for anyone seeking a career in nursing.

Thanks to the Daisy Templin and Roger P. Templin Scholarship Fund at Alton Memorial Hospital, anyone in the River Bend area -- young or old, man or woman -- can receive assistance with a nursing career.

To apply for the Templin scholarship, the applicant must be accepted by an approved school and submit an application. For an application, or more information, call Alton Memorial Hospital's Nursing Office at 618.463.7345.

Scholarships are awarded and considered for renewal annually. Templin Scholarships are funded by Alton Memorial Health Services Foundation.
